QA Engineer

The Fusen platform fosters community amongst student founders leveraging open accelerator models that provide access to the resources needed to successfully launch and grow their companies. We're looking for a quality assurance engineer to join our team as we continue to iterate and scale our online platform. In this role, candidates will work with the engineering and product teams to design and implement tests, debug and assist in defining corrective actions, and review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics.  

This role is a remote first role; however, there will be a few days per month where you will need to be able to participate in meetings or events in the office or at other locations in the metro Atlanta area. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Collaborate closely with the engineering and product teams to develop test plans 
• Create automated tests to identify problems 
• Conduct regression tests for major product releases 
• Analyze bugs and create repro steps 
• Document results of tests for the engineering team 
• Recommend improvements in software to enhance user experience 
• Review product features and work with product owners to ensure implementation matches expectation 
• Collaborate with engineering team to develop a good continuous integration workflow 
• Manage release cycle 

Qualifications 

• Experience using web-based testing frameworks (ex. Selenium) 
• Experience using Jira or similar project tracking software for managing bugs 
• Knowledge of MS Web Technologies (.Net, C#) 
• Experience using GIT/Azure Dev Ops is a plus 
• Ability to work autonomously 
• Keen attention to detail 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• B.S. or B.A. in computer science, information technology, or related field 
• Prior experience with the full lifecycle of the testing process
