The Fusen platform supports student founders with an open accelerator model, providing access to resources, mentorship, investors, and funding opportunities to successfully launch and grow their companies.
We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join our team as we continue iterating and scaling our online platform. In this role, you will collaborate with our engineering and product teams to design, develop, and implement high-quality features that enhance user experience and platform functionality.
This is a hybrid role, and candidates should be able to attend in-person meetings or events in the metro Atlanta area multiple times per month.
Required Qualifications:
- B.S. or B.A. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with Django and PostgreSQL for backend development.
- Proficiency in Python for backend development
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for frontend development.
- Experience using version control systems (Git).
- Familiarity with AI development tools (e.g., Cursor, Windsurf).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with React for frontend development.
- Familiarity with Bootstrap and Hotwire.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Heroku.
- Experience developing AI-powered applications or agents.
- Familiarity with OpenAPI for API design and documentation.
- Understanding of MCP (Model-Centric Programming) principles.
