About Raccoon Eyes:

Raccoon Eyes is a startup focused on reducing food waste in kitchens and cafeterias through AI-powered cameras that monitor and analyze waste. After a successful pilot at Georgia Tech, we’re expanding our mission to dining facilities nationwide.

Role Overview:

We’re seeking an Operations and Business Co-Founder to drive business strategy, operations, and growth. As a co-founder, you’ll be responsible for scaling our business, optimizing operations, and forming key partnerships to expand our impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute the business strategy, including growth and fundraising.
Manage day-to-day operations and build scalable workflows.
Lead negotiations with clients and partners.
Build and lead a high-performing team.
Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and performance analysis.
Collaborate with the tech team to refine the product based on user feedback.

Qualifications:

Experience in operations, business development, or startup leadership.
Proven ability to scale operations and drive business growth.
Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.

I am a young professional from Ethiopia, graduated in Economics from Arba Minch University in 2016. And, I have done Master's degree in MBA in 2023. After my first degree graduation, I have joined from Ministry of Finance as a an expert of bilateral economic cooperation, also known as a resource mobilizer, and as a program and project monitoring & evaluation officer (are responsible for resource mobilization from different development partners, undertake collaboration and cooperation agreement with different donors, undertake monitoring and evaluation of project/program effectiveness, and disseminate and communicate the results of M&E, providing service to different clients and partners etc) almost for four years.

Since January 1, 20201 I have joined from telecommunication sector which is known as ethio telecom company as a contact center advisor.

The BA in Economics, in my works is so important to being a good project officer and to be a good advisor/customer service officer and to develop feasible solutions in this area. And i have Master's degree in MBA too. The BA in Economics and master's in MBA Programmes plays a key role to foster a professional attitude and practice.
